This should be the junction of Hankow Road and Peking Road. Police officers were walking along Peking road towards Nathan road.

An advertisment for 'Tai Wo Compradore' gives the address as 10-12 Hankow Road.

If Tai Wo was located at 10-12 Hankow Road, then the building should be the westernmost part of the 1930s Block of European Flats [1930-c.1961].
