There is a note on the manifest that passport and visa requirements were to be waived for them.
Fred Woodhead age 32 policeman whose last place of residence was Hong travelled on the same ship as did Mrs Woodhead
Henry "Brab" Hallowes
Mention is made in the China Mail dated 11 August 1958 of the death of Henry "Brab" Hallowes in County Dublin, Ireland. He was a member of the Public Works Department pre-war, and was interned by the Japanese during the Occupation. He retired to Ireland after the war.
