I've pushed the completion date from 1945 back to c.1930:

  • Names of Buildings gives the Year of Completion as "Pre 1945".
  • The 1924 map shows it has a number - 179 The Peak - but in the index it doesn't have a name, just a lot number, RBL 187. That suggests a building hasn't been built yet.
  • The lot was advertised for sale in 1921: GA 1921 (suppl) no.304
  • On page Q101 of the 1924 PWD Annual Report, it lists a 6-inch sewer being laid to the lot, suggesting it was being prepared for building on.
  • The 1934 aerial photos at http://www.hkmaps.hk/map_1934.html show a building on this site.
