The only thing my grandmother M.G. Marks-Groot had written (in Dutch) on the back of this photo when she sent it home to family in the Netherlands around 1925 was "River". Unknown where exactly this picture was taken.

Thanks - no clue how this pic got in the Hong Kong set. I'll remove it from Gwulo obviously. But someone needs to teel me how to I;m afraid ....
