Sometime earlier when discussing northern New Territories border- crossings I posted an image of ‘Chick’s bridge’ circa 1949
I wonder if someone in the post-war British Army Units with a sense of Chinese history and of southern war-lords knew of Captain Chick the military adventurer, and named the bridge after him for some reason.
