The "Scriven" my father referred to was Douglas Scriven IMS (Indian Medical Service). Below is the first page of a 2-page document that descibes Scriven's later escape from Sham Shui Po POW Camp.

Does anyone know of a formal obituary of Dr. Scriven? I have searched English and  Hong Kong newspapers without success. If anyone aware of such please email to martinbuchillon@gmail.com. Thank you.PM

Of his 2 sons, the eldest Tony is a Dr. in Hereford, the other Nick is a medical practitioner in HK. Regrets I do not have the obituary
