I was a part time waiter there when I was 15 years old, I remember Roman Tam and the four steps playing the Beatles Birthday every time they start the show

You said Roman Tam & the Four Steps were at the Purple Onion...which year(s) would that be?  I ask becsuse in the late 1960s  (about 1967) Roman and his group played at the Firecracker Bar in the basement of the President  Hotel (later the Hyatt Hotel ) at the corner of Nathan Rd/Peking Rd.
