I have a question about the Kerosene Godowns in Kennedy town.

The architecture designs seems to reflect a Dutch influence. Were they built by companies originating in The Netherlands in the 1900’s?

That's an interesting question. The Royal Dutch Petroleum Company were trading in Hong Kong around this time, see: https://www.shell.com.cn/en_cn/about-us/who-we-are/shell-history-in-china/_jcr_content/par/textimage.stream/1468531404098/71ba96f4fb7485cc77b7c388e7b015b5f330c699a976f6a99b5e57fac91cb601/shell-story2004.pdf

But I'm not sure who were the owners of this building. There's an article Kerosine Oil Case on p.2 of The China Mail, 1900-09-04 that mentions "the Standard Oil Company's kerosine godown at Kennedy Town" but it isn't clear if that refers to this building, and if it does then whether Standard Oil owned the whole site or were just one of the companies using it.
