Built on Marine Lot 13, the building was on the seafront (Connaught Road Central), on the east side of Pottinger Street.

In old photos taken from the harbour, these four look the same as the next eight buildings to the east. But looking at the map it's clear they were different.

In this photo dated 1958, their coat of bright yellow paint makes them stand out.

Then in this 1965 photo the building (it should be at the right edge of the photo) has already been demolished. Chinachem Tower will be built on this land.
