"Cart" on Waglan, Green Island and Castle Peaks' rails??

Hi,

Rail systems are located in Waglan Island, Green Island and Castle Peaks. These rails are still existing nowadays but the "cart" used on these rails are a myst. Do you guys have old photos or docs describe how it look???

Here is a short clip of Waglan's rail:

For Waglan Island it looks as though you'll want photos taken between roughly 1970 and 1989.

This SCMP article (https://www.scmp.com/magazines/post-magazine/long-reads/article/2101407/hong-kongs-waglan-lighthouse-lights-nobodys-home) says the tracks were laid in the 1970s to move fuel and supplies to the compound, but that the facillty was automated in August 1989 so there were no more men living on the site after that.

Hi There,

I have a vague impression reading somewhere that the Shatin Reclamation also utilized a little rail system of sort, similar to the one previous used for cutting down Morrison Hill in Wanchai, but couldn't remember where did I see it.

Is it dated to 70-80's ??

Yes, the function of rail system is indicated in many journals and news articles. However, it is weired that no photo or record on the "cart / carrier" working on these rails. I would love to see how it works and look like.
