In the 1920s, the RAF had temporary facilities in Cameron Road on K.I.L.'s 417,418. and 524.

Hong Kong Daily Press from 1928-04-23 reports:

The entire engine repair section of the Royal Air Force and six men from the Kai Tack Aerodrome left by the s.s. Bellerophon for home. There are about 72 men in all and they are sailing under the command of Flight Officer Jones, the only officer among the party.

The engine repair section was stationed at the Cameron Road “Camp”.

Couldn't find anything beyond that clipping about the facilities.

Moddsey posted a comment; Prior to the building of permanent accommodation at Kai Tak,  the temporary buildings on the south side of Cameron Road, I believe were quarters for the RAF.

My estimate of the span of existence is 1920 to 1930.
