Looking back towards the lower site. There has probably been a great deal of development in the area between here and Shouson Hill and even over towards Wong Nai Chung Gap. It looks as though the Aberdeen tunnel was almost ready to be opened. We had caught a bus from Central that took us over the Wong Nai Chung Gap road - hence the accompanying photographs of the Happy Valley area. I recall seeing a squatter camp on the plain close to the new road - probably just visible between the cable car pylons. It looked as though it might soon be demolished.
