I'm writing a long post about old photograph in Hong Kong. It is written in Chinese, but you can use google translator to translate it (about 30% accuracy) At least you can guess what I'm talking about.

If you are interested, I will try to publish here in English when I'm less busy (It will be a difficult task for me)

HF, That's an interesting discussion thread, thanks for the link. If you get the chance to add any of your photos and translations here, we'll enjoy seeing them.

The pictures there are great, but HF's comments are good to read too. He's sharing his research on early photographers in Hong Kong. Here's the link to the translated version.

I have posted 20 photos for causeway/happy valley taken in 1870s or before
