China Mail 16 April 1927
Situated at 37, 38 and 39 Connaught Road West and opening on 17 April. Designed by Messrs. Palmer and Turner. Constructed of reinforced cement concrete, the 100 feet high hotel comprised 8 storeys. Serving both Chinese and Western meals.
