Not sure how to change the current condition attribute, but milestone number 8 can still be found west of the junction of Castle Peak Road and Texaco Road on the northeast corner of Tsuen Wan Garden Fortune Court.

This MS 8 is in use, and also shows the 'reverse' MS 48.5.
