According to this source, the school relocated from its first premises on Babington Path (Hong Kong Island) to this location in 1948. It offered both primary and secondary special education for hearing-impaired students. 

 

 

Comments

The 1935 date may refer to the operation of the Hong Kong School for the Deaf at 15 Babington Path. Mention is made here on pages 9 and 11 of the China Mail dated 5 November 1935.

Don't know when did the school change its name to Chun Tok School but theis history according to their site seemed to match.
