Cragside - Shell?
In the early-1960s this may have been an executive house for Shell, albeit not for its General Manager. A Hong Kong $ Directory shows the occupant of Cragside as Shell's Finance Manager.
Hilden on Pollock's Path was the residence of Shell's Aviation Manager.
Since the subsequent Cragside and Altadena lowrises were completed within a year of each other, I think the houses were bought by the same developer. Also, the redevelopments share a driveway and are much closer together than the previous houses, which were somewhat spread out. Could it be that the two oil companies (Shell - Cragside, Standard Oil - Altadena) sold simultaneously?
