Hi David, 

I have about 60 photos that I took just before the 1997 handover. Scenes that were such commonplace then and are here no more. The photos can be divided into two groups, one showing how people celebrate the 10th October National day by hoisting the national flags all over Hong Kong, and the other group showing how companies/organizations change their company logos after the handover. 24 years old doesn't seem very much but if we don't capture them today, it would be much more difficult to find them later.

We have a rough cutoff date of 1997, so if you have photos of Hong Kong taken before then you can follow the steps at https://gwulo.com/node/2076 to upload them. Photos won't be uploaded anonymously though, they'll be linked to your account.
