Tytam Villa was originally the country home of HO Sai Leung, 30 Tai Tam Road.

Eric HO, in his book "Tracing my Children's Linage", lived in this house in the 1930s.  The names in blue in this chart shows who was living in Tytam Villa from 1933 to 1941, and who was related to whom.

The extended family had moved from a mansion on Kennedy Road, The Hermitage, which they rented out, to save money.  HO Leung got killed in December 1933 and the bank forclosed on the mortgage.   His wife Edna's brother, MK, whose country house was next door, and several HO family members went pleading to famous Uncle Sir Robert HO Tung, and together he and MK fronted the money for the house. It was bought at auction, and Edna was given a life interest.  Ho Tung and MK placed large leins against the property, for much more that it was worth, to claim back when it was eventually sold.   The family moved out permanently in 1941.

The Japanese used it as a field hospital during the occupation.

After the war, Edna never did return to the house to live in it.  She rented it out.

The table above won't stretch out like the Jury lists do.  I can't see anything wrong with the html. Any ideas ?

It looks ok to me - the text is wrapped so the table fits into the centre column of the page.

How would you like it to look?

NOWRAP, just like the jury lists.  One line per row.

If you want to keep the text on one line, try replacing any spaces or <BR> between words with a non-breaking space

&nbsp;

Though the text in the jury lists doesn't use this, and does wrap, so it may not be exactly what you need?
