B.C.C. meeting re Zindel’s visit. Zindel explained his inability to carry out his proper duties. HK to get priority re food etc as people at home know of true situation here.

Saw G on rail outside Qts from roof & I guess she saw me but no wave.
Meijima came in with ration lorry. Seems that some swindle has been unearthed. And & 3 policemen Bradbury (hence G on rail) to HQs pm. ((There was a B W Bradbury in camp, but Brian notes that it was F W Bradley that was arrested, so maybe Jones got the names mixed up.))
Blackout from Midn’t. Slept on roof.
Rained heavily 1AM.
Investigation of people arrested yesterday carried on. (Hall, Bradley, Anderson PWD, Scott, Reece & Whant). ((Probably F I Hall, F W Bradley, W R Scott, and S Rees, as all those men would be executed by the Japanese in October 1943. I only know of one "Whant" in camp, L R Whant. In the comments below, Brian notes 'Anderson' refers to William Anderson.))
