H.M.A.S.Australia damaged in Battle of Philllipines indicates that the Aussie  Navy is in action with the US Fleet.

Paper tries its best to make Taiwan & Phillipine Battles o’erwhelming wins for them, but they cannot help but indicate the true trend of events. The Yanks may be having a rough time but they are winning. Euro news very scanty.

Autumn Off. started in France (Gen. Patton) Stalin shows where he thinks Japan stands in his estimation. The Japs have no doubt acquired a headache through his speech. Roosevelt returned for 4th term by overwhelming majority against Dewey.
