An unexploded American bomb (most likely dropped on April 4, 1945) was uncovered during construction of the building beside the Sikh Temple.

The Gap Road School once stood directly beside the temple.  It was badly damaged during the April 4, 1945 air raid.

This is the easternmost portion of Queen's Road East in summer 2015, but formerly this was known as Gap Road.

This is the easternmost portion of Queen's Road East in summer 2015, but formerly this was known as Gap Road.

A prewar block of flats stood on the site of the Cosmo Hotel, Xinhua News Agency, and Cosmopolitan Hotel.
