The photo is dated 5 May 1923 and shows a group of presumably Dutch people. At least my grandfather Pieter Marks is on the picture and he worked there in the twenties for the HK agency of the Nederlandsch-Indische Handelsbank. Photographer was Mee Cheung. <Read more ...>
Photo most likely taken in the Dutch Club (Hollandsche Club) in Hong Kong. My grandfather Pieter Marks (who worked there at the HK agency of the Dutch East-Indies Commercial Bank (incorrectly - if one asks me - aka as the Dutch India Commercial Bank, the 'Nederlandsch-Indische Handelsbank') until 1927/8 and there are also quite a few Royal Netherlands Navy officers on the picture.
