Marriage of Carel Johan Endert and Jacoba Geertruida Adriana Schabeck (Schabeek). My grandfather Pieter Marks (1893-1981) was employed at that time - like the groom - by the Dutch East Indies Commercial Bank, the Nederlandsch-Indische Handelsbank. My grandfather is the young man (30) 2nd from the right. Carel Johan Endert, at this time former board member of the Nationale Handelsbank N.V., passed away in the Netherlands in the age of 75 on 24 April 1976.
