This is the army school at Fort Stanley. I am on the second row from the from far left. We only lived in Fort Stanley for a short time (1952) until we moved to the army quarters at Lei Yue Mun. To get to the school at Fort Stanley a small group of us travelled in an "open" canvas covered army truck. From what I can recall the teachers were the vicar's wife and officers wives. I am not sure how many were fully qualified teachers. My parents moved me to the French Convent School. A totally different experience!! <Read more ...>
