42-storey World Trade Centre, located in Causeway Bay next to the Excelsior Hotel. Phase I of the building (to the 26th floor) was completed by end of July 1975. The building was completed by end of November 1975, phase II (26th to 38th floors) were fully occupied by January 1976. The Palace Theatre could seat 1,000 in comfort and it opened in September 1975 with the famous Bluebell Girls from Paris as the headline act. <Read more ...>
