Shows the site of the King George V Memorial Park (Kowloon) - or whats left after the Japanese occupation.

Wikipedia refers that the park was partly destroyed and used as a refuse dump. In 1948 it looks as if the site has been cleared already. Only a pavilion and a small building survived the war. <Read more ...>

Old buildings, Jordan 佐敦

Rear or side of old building on Jordan Road 佐敦道 near Chi Wo Street, Jordan. Apparently this building was demolished around 2002.

I'm not sure where this is. I seem to remember it was near the "other side" of Canton Road, perhaps somewhere up into Jordan, around Ferry Street area? Certainly somewhere I only went once by car or taxi. <Read more ...>
