Brian Edgar has a post describing Doris Cuthbertson's work during the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong. Initially interned in Stanley Camp, she was guaranteed out in September 1942. She spent the rest of the occupation living outside camp, and was responsible for channeling money and other supplies to Jardines' employeed in Stanley Camp, and in the Prisoner of War camps.
