To the left is the junction with Fenwick Street. The building on the corner had very distinctive inverted black triangle markings on its front. See here

Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force Harvard IIB, registration KF369 with bowser in attendance. With HKAAF from 19 May 1951. Struck off charge on 9 January 1958.

1950s Rickshaw Puller

Date is a guess. The building behind the rickshaw is the Chinese Methodist Church. Note the letters "R. D." on the rickshaw puller's hat. Perhaps stands for "rickshaw driver".

This is a photo of our house on the Peak in the 1950's - 1960's.  It was 174 The Peak and later changed to 71 Mount Kellett Road.  I believe units are now built there - sadly.

Whilst going through old photos and papers from my father's time in Hong Kong (1947 - 1963) I found this map from the 1950's which may be of interest to some as it shows ferry routes and the old Kai Tak airport.  No tunnels in those days!
