1950s Rickshaw Puller

Date is a guess. The building behind the rickshaw is the Chinese Methodist Church. Note the letters "R. D." on the rickshaw puller's hat. Perhaps stands for "rickshaw driver".

This is a photo of our house on the Peak in the 1950's - 1960's.  It was 174 The Peak and later changed to 71 Mount Kellett Road.  I believe units are now built there - sadly.

Whilst going through old photos and papers from my father's time in Hong Kong (1947 - 1963) I found this map from the 1950's which may be of interest to some as it shows ferry routes and the old Kai Tak airport.  No tunnels in those days!
