Looking east towards present day Queensway. On the left is the Cricket Ground (fenced in portion). To the right, is the Parade Ground where the Hilton used to be. The tram tracks to the left of photo curve in towards today's Jackson Rd to meet up with Des Voeux Rd Central. The photographer would be standing where the former City Hall (now the old Bank of China Building) used to be.

This postcard shows Queensway looking east just past present day Murray Road and the Naval Yard (retaining wall and chimney to the left of photo) with the Hong Kong Cricket Club grounds (fence) on the left, In the foreground, Queensway veers right to join Garden Road.
