I marked this one up as a candidate because there is no exteria marking bearing an year of construction. The block had recently been remodelled and is covered by canvas ads or whatever it is. The height, the building style, and the pillars all looked right though.
The location marked up there is just one of the older houses, the Wing Wo Ho Gorcery store. The wet market take up nearly the middle part of Graham Street between Wellington & Gage, and extended to Gage Street itself. This area would soon be re-developed. Some elements like the exterior wall of some older building might be preserved.
According to the company's website, they were established since 1943. I believe the house itself might be a bit older than that but let's stick to 1943 as for the time being. <Read more ...>
