Trafalgar Court is the building in the center on the round platform.

Building on IL4223 at 70 Tai Hang Road. Centadata gives 06/1984 as date of first occupation. Trafalgar Court has 60 units on 30 floors.

Building on IL4223 at 70 Tai Hang Road. It was built after demolition of the predecessor in 1962 and demolished in about 1983 to make way for Trafalgar Court. It had 7 floors and was y-shaped (see the 1975 map onhttp://www.hkmaps.hk/mapviewer.html).

Shows (from right to left) Tiger Balm Garden Pagoda, the platform above Tai Hang Road (empty at the place where Grandview Mansions will be built in 1955), and the platform below Tai Hang Road (=mystery building).

On top of the latter one, a house stands on the upper section of the round structure.

Similar view as this but after reclamation. The house on the mystery building site it now finished, but it's not Trafalgar Court which opened in 06/1984. Behind it is Grandview Mansion.

1962 Typhoon Shelter

This photo shows the old Causeway Bay Typhoon shelter. It's attributed to 1962, but the date should be 1955 or 1956. The Typhoon shelter was reclamed 1956/57 to become Victoria Park (opened 1957). Date confirmed. see David's comment below.

The rounded house right hand side on the hill (at the bend of Tai Hang Road) is Grandview Mansion, first occupied 1/1955.

Below it, a house on a round structure is under construction, probably built on the site of the mystery building.

Centadata quotes first occupation as January 1955. It has 33 units on four floors.
