This little Pillbox is located in the corner of the small beach behind the Bus depot in Shek O. If you have not been there before there is a little Bar called "The Back Beach Bar" which is a fantastic place to "Re-hydrate" after a walk or a day on the beach. On P96 of Tony Banham's 'Not the slightest chance' there's a map of HK's pill boxes. It shows PB45 as due north of Mt Butler, about midway between the mountain and the shoreline. I haven't managed to find it yet.

Thanks to Rob Weir for locating this pillbox. It was built on the steps of the Victoria Recreation Club (VRC). The VRC was built on the western edge of the reclamation for the Royal Navy's dockyard, and so the steps led down into the waters of Victoria Harbour.
