This photo was taken in the late 1920s or early 1930s. I am fairly sure it was in Shanghai. The lone woman in the photos is Nora Hunter, and her father Tobias Hunter is also in the photo fifth from left side. Others in the photo may be Alexander Samson, Ernest Samson, Pete Pederson. The photo could also show Thomas Cock. The crates in the background could have been from tea, butter, or some food commodity as Geddes was an importer of butter and dairy products from Australia and elsewhere. <Read more ...>
