Quarry Bay School sports day.  Prizes of engraved cups and shields were given to the children who won places in the various events.  Here I receive a cup for winning one of the running events.

Quarry Bay School Sports Day c1953.  I am coming 2nd in the sack race.

I am not sure, but I think this was held at the Happy Valley Racecourse? Perhaps someone can verify?
