Original Quarry Bay School [1926- ]

I meant to post this with the other QBS Spring Festival photos, but was somewhat embarrassed that my family had failed to return the proof. Not sure if it is the same  QBS Spring Festival of which moddsey posted the 1934 HK Telegraph photo. My cousin, Diana Warren, standing far right of the group is not in May Queen mode this time. Also this photo is numbered 7, as is one of the QBS ones that I posted previously.

Quarry Bay School sports day.  Prizes of engraved cups and shields were given to the children who won places in the various events.  Here I receive a cup for winning one of the running events.

Quarry Bay School Sports Day c1953.  I am coming 2nd in the sack race.

I am not sure, but I think this was held at the Happy Valley Racecourse? Perhaps someone can verify?
