The Blarney Stone.

Ken Sly and his wife took out a lease on the Blarney Stone, an isolated and badly war damaged house on the West coast of the Island.  They renovated one wing, leaving the one on the left as a ruin. Years later the building was demolished and now the Blarney Stone Villas occupy that site.

1953 Ruins of the WW II / Peak

The house in the front is located at the junction of Lugard and Mount Austin Roads. It still exists and is used by the Peak Tramways.
