Found this when I was looking through The China Mail of Sept 23, 1960. Probably not one of Carlsberg's more successful campaigns, nor one of its more tasteful.

It's forgotten these days that after WW2 the UK had food rationing in various forms until the early 1950s. Food parcels sent from the USA and Canada are well known, but from the far distant colony of Hong Kong!  Via your grocer, Lane Crawford, in October 1949, long before it became a posh shop
