The journey started with a morning walk through the open gate by the Star House, along the trolley track to the first pier where my ship was anchored. I showed my ticket to a dock worker, and he took over my luggage. To enter the ship, I walked up some stairs and next a gangplank (thankfully it has handrails and side barriers).
