Modreenagh photo is pre-war though the entrance gate is positioned in the same place for my later photo of 119 The Peak. My Father lived there in 1927 when he arrived in HK. The big building behind I think is Hillcrest and on the right is the Peak Club, now the Peak School. <Read more ...>
This small chest of drawers was made out of camphor wood as a sample and is only 32cm high. The chest of drawers is on my dressing table and used to store my cufflinks.
