This map shows the block delimited by Wellington, Cochrane, Gage, and Graham Streets, Gutzlaff Street divides this block in two.

The red lined building is the Gutzlaff Street Public Toilet and Bathhouse.

The map shows the "Railway from KCR terminus to Kowloon Wharves [c.1934-c.1956]". Looks as if the tracks were in use earlier than 1934.

Peninsula Court / Marco Polo Hotel [1957-1982]  (despite the fact that there is a handwriting "HK&S Banking Corp".)

1922 map Chatham/Mody Roads

On the 1922 map is an area marked with "WD Children's Playground" (if I decipher that correctly). Zoom in to the junction of Chatham and Mody Roads. No indication when construction actually started.

Connaught Road Houses between the Central Fire Station and the Harbour Office 1930

Similar to the houses between the General Post Office and the Central Fire Station, there are more houses between the Central Fire Station and the Harbour Office that appear on many photos, simply because they were at the waterfront for some 60 years.

To get an impression about the buildings here is a map together with a photo (cropped from Hong Kong from the Harbour.jpg) from around 1930.

Two maps of 11-NW-20D with the Hung Hom Police Station (2nd gen.) in the circle. The station disappears on the 1979 map, only an annex is left.

This is a merger of the maps 180 -SW-13 and 179-SE-16.They are from 1690, updated 1969.

On this map, two overhead ropeways are shown. Not clear if they were both active for some time, or only shown on this map.
