Homantin Hill Road-Military family housing quarters

Homantin Hill Road-Military family housing quarters

This block stood on Homantin Hill Road above Homantin Street. The white sign-board at the fence-line denoted it as UK Ministry of Defence property. It is thought to have been the location of RAF Homantin just after the war. Rumour had it that it was the scene of many Japanese atrocities during the war and the building and grounds were haunted.

Is there anyplace that has not been touted as haunted that existed during the war?

I've even read a first hand account of a house in mid-levels, where the author himself lived there during the entire war, and is still alive, yet their house has been labeled "haunted" and "Japanese occupied".
