SS. Hongkong Truth - Orient Overseas Line
MV HONGKONG TRUTH
As the ship is listed as owned by the C.Y. Tung group from 1968 - 1978 it is likely that the photo was taken after 1965 at the Sham Shui Po anchorage between Lai Chi Kok and Stonecutters Island.
Formerly MV LUBILASH – built in 1954 by John Cockerill S.A. Hoboken for Maritime Belge (Lloyd Royal) S.A. Belgium.

1968 Renamed HONG KONG TRUTH and transferred to Universal Marine Corp. Liberia. Initially employed on a service between US Pacific ports and Eastern Australia. During its 9 year career with C.Y. Tung the ship was transferred to a further five different companies within the group.
