1930s Haiphong Road
This photo was probably taken from the Dairy Farm & Ice Cold Storage Co. which stood at the corner of Nathan Road and Humphrey's Avenue. Note the stone wall enclosure of Whitfield Barracks, parts of which can still be seen today and the War Department Lot stone marker at the corner. A similar marker exists at the western end of Haiphong Road: http://gwulo.com/node/3961
