This could be the corner of Chatham and Granville Road looking in easterly direction. This possible as our hotel was close by. Another support is the fact that the sign on the crane reads "T.S.Wong & Co.". This is the same as on my image of the Royal Garden Hotel (shot from Park Hotel at 61, Chatham Road).

Looking at the views here and here and the direction of traffic turning into Cameron Road from Chatham Road, I guess the rainy day photos were taken outside the entrance of the Park Hotel.

Hi, that's a good suggestion: Park was our hotel. So the photos show the Junction of Chatham Road with Cameron and not Granville Road. Right?
