Oriental Theatre 東方  on Fleming Road, Hong Kong.  This street scene was taken sometime in the 1930s or 40s.  The lack of cars in commercal and crowded neighbourhoods can be seen also in other photos from this period.  For this theatre,  the two main roads at the two ends were part of the reason.  People walked leisurely without haste and concern about car traffic.  Photo source: Discuss.com.hk.
