The Lo Yuk-Tong family house, at 17-19 Kennedy Road, was first built in 1919, and demolished near 1970. It is one of the sites that was redeveloped to build current day Hopewell Centre.
The picture shows the front entrance and garage on the back side of the house. After walking in, you will find yourself at a small pagoda. On the left of the pagoda, stone steps lined with flower pots lead down 1-storey to the front door of the house. The front door was located on the third floor of the house.
The stone and iron fencing in the foreground is where today's Fujiya Mansion (21-23A Kennedy Road) stands.
