Interesting photo. I think the single storey building in the centre of the photograph was the Alex. Ross motorcycle and car dealership. The building was was completed in 1929 after the previous building as seen here was destroyed in 1927 during a typhoon. In November 1934, the building with some modification was converted into the Kowloon Post Office (3rd generation). See here
