The Fair was held between 24 and 27 May 1933. The main venue was the Peninsula Hotel. Two matshed pavilions were erected at the junction of Nathan and Salisbury Roads to showcase British and Empire made goods as well as local agricultural products. In the foreground on the open lawn, the Far East Aviation Co. Ltd had a stand to display British aircraft. Not sure but the biplane seen looks like to be an Avro 616 Avian (VR-HBR) that belonged to Chief Test Pilot, A. V. Harvey of the Far East Aviation Co. Ltd. At the conclusion of the Fair, Harvey went up in a Armstrong Whitworth A.W.16 and performed aerial stunts. Information of the aircraft on display can be viewed here Scroll to pages 11 and 12.
