One of the shelters associated with pill box 37 and its Lyon light is on the right. The chimney suggests that it provided sleeping accommodation. Beneath the left leg of the aerial mast is a large concrete block. We used to sunbathe on its flat surface and it is now buried beneath the extreme end of the promenade. Another of the buioldings is just visible Beyond the mast. (Andrew S)
